The Gist
I hope this dispatch finds you well!
On Saturday, I ventured to the Virginia countryside to celebrate the union of my friend, Roy, and his wife, Anna Sophia. It was a lovely wedding. Cheers to the happy couple!
I didn’t have reopening Alcatraz Prison, a National Park Service landmark, and tariffing Hollywood in my 2025 bingo card either. But all I want right now is a repeal of the Inflation Reduction Act green subsidies, making tax cuts permanent, and cutting trillions in spending. Fewer trial balloons, please!
What lies ahead this week? On Wednesday, the papal conclave will convene to select a successor to Pope Francis. And who knows what else.
With reconciliation looming, I’ve got some reports and speeches to prepare for. Follow along on my social media channels to not miss out on updates. And barring no problems, you can catch me on Newsmax TV today/soon discussing Spain’s recent blackouts caused by going 100% renewables.
I’ll catch you next week!
